At TMTS we believe that a strong careers provision is vital to unlocking the full potential of all students.
Preparing students for future employment is central to the school's vision and ethos. The ongoing development of our careers programme receives full support from the SLT and underpins much of our curriculum. We continually measure our careers provision against the standards set by The Careers and Enterprise Company (particularly the Gatsby Benchmarks) to assess the variety and quality of within our programme.
We aim for pupils to have meaningful work preparation both in and out of school throughout their school life. Please click on the 'Flight Path' link below for a view to how we address this across the Key Stages.
Our Employment Engagement Coordinator and Post-16 Lead work together to secure and support work opportunities beyond the classroom, and to maximise the impact of the programme by monitoring evidence and feedback from students, employers, families, and job coaches.
