Our Trustees play a key role in helping to oversee the strategic direction of the college, working in partnership with Marilyn Ross and her Senior Leadership Team.
The board of Trustees is a ‘critical friend’ of the college and, as such, seeks to ensure that the college fulfils its aims and objectives and meets statutory requirements.
Our Trustees are involved in overseeing curriculum policies, appointing staff, care and maintenance of the building, monitoring grounds and equipment and setting the budget. Trustees also work closely with the college to create a College Development Plan and ensure it is acted upon.
Trustees of the college hold the Executive Head to account for the educational performance of the college and its students. They oversee financial performance of the college, making sure its money is well spent. This is done through formal committee and full board meetings, regular visits to the college, and by talking to staff, students and parents.
