The Outreach Network (ON)
Continuing on from the opportunities for family and friends of the school to get involved and build a space for sharing and growth, TMTS is pleased to announce the Outreach Network (ON).
During term time, our dedicated staff team work with our young people to deliver a comprehensive curriculum which meets the complex needs of each of our students. Our Teachers and Teaching Assistants, management and support staff all have a vested interest in securing the best quality of life for each pupil we work with. However, funding does not always reach far enough to nurture students potentials in the ways we know we can. So in conjunction with our parent-led Association, we are launching a new campaign to encourage individuals, local and national businesses big and small to help us achieve our targets and secure the best possible future for our students.
Many ways to get involved at TMTS and TMTC:
With the success of the summer fair and our mobility drive, we are ever closer to our target of buying the schools very own motorised exercise bicycle. Specialist equipment to support physical health for wheelchair users does not come cheap and among other goals of the school and Friends and Family of TMTS is to raise money to improve student quality of life.
2017 saw huge donations of support from individual donors and organisations alike. Special thanks to John Parfitt, Nolan's Freehouse and Barings Asset Management Ltd who collectively raised over £2000 for the school and supported us to purchase and maintain a new fish tank!
If you have any donations you would like to make or projects/initiatives to help us fund raise, please do get in touch with the school and ask for Jason or Haddy.
Charities we support
At TMTS and TMTC we also believe in the importance of raising money for a range of causes other than just our own. As such we a committed to raising money through a range fun and exciting ways which engage our student and parent communities alike. Please see the below examples of our ongoing and previous contributions:
This Autumn term we will be hosting events for:
